PepperlandFriday – 9:00-11:00

Beatles Tribute Band

Waiting for The Beatles has been an international past time for 40 years, making it the longest held breath in pop music history… now hear this! For the vast standing masses of Beatles fans everywhere, Pepperland is a breath of fresh air!

Pepperland’s purpose is to be your good gurus guide through the surreal songbook of John, Paul, George and Ringo. By performing Beatles and solo years with an off beat, updated twist, Pepperland looks to tune in and turn on the post sixties generations who didn’t hear the initial gong, but still feel the vibration.

Formed in autumn of 1996, Pepperland has played together in various incarnations and projects, for over 15 years, making this sextet less a Beatles “cover” band and more a “band”, first and foremost, that plays the music of The Beatles.

While others have sought to look, act and sound like our notable namesakes, Pepperland have collectively decided to maintain a sound and identity of their own, all the while recreating the magical mixture of spirit that defined a generation of laughing free men.

Pepperland attacks the music of the Beatles with an impressive proficiency. Don’t expect  another Beatlemania or 1964 (two rather unexciting “tributes” to the Beatles). Pepperland takes many more chances with the music, turning up the volume a tad on some of the harder White Album cuts, stuffing the song with loads of percussion, adding a female vocalist and emitting a general controlled chaos that would do Mr. Lennon proud. For anyone who wishes that the Beatles would have performed their studio years live, Pepperland does the music justice.

CollegiateShagSaturday – 1:00-2:30

Collegiate Shag Brass Band

Brass Jazz

In 2005, The Collegiate Shag started as a Jazz Ensemble at the University of Missouri-Columbia inspired by The Dirty Dozen and Youngblood Brass Band. The idea hasn’t changed since the inception: good music, big brass. With original tunes inspired by wide- ranged influences from Queen, Nobuo Uematsu, Grover Washington Jr. and James Brown, as well as covers of Tito Puente, The Seatbelts, Trombone Shorty, and Ozomatli, Columbia’s flagship brass band is up and out, live and loud.

Collegiate Shag is a band of members with varied taste that have come to grow together as musicians technically and emotionally. With a chemistry that reaches beyond time and space, along with the genre-grasping drums of Taylor Thorne, the fat brass-bass-bricks of Kris Scott, the searing laser-like power of Brandon “Potter” Hall, the nuanced and rife-with-style sound of Meredith Hammer, the ripping soul of Brian Vaughn, the über control of Dillon Dains, the 0-60 notes of Jim Scheffer, endless energy of Robert Bostic, and pure electricity of Kevin Jerez… this group is one to be revered….and PARTIED WITH!!!!

SuperJamSaturday – 3:00-4:30

Super Jam

Classic Rock

Superjam! The word invokes the glory of a bygone era.
A time when the Rock was so immense only stadiums could contain it. A time when a bad seat mean’t you probably weren’t going to see anything at the show except a cheap beer and some shirtless girls. And that was fine.

Superjam!  The name of a mighty quintet of St. Louis rockers-nay-dreamers, who dare to dream that they can bring back those heady days of yesteryear.  Bring back screaming guitars and killer rock poses!  Bring back racks of keyboards and questionable fashions!  Bring back ear splitting vocals and soul crushing bass! Bring back senseless drum solos!  Bring back lava lamps and black light posters! Superjam!  A blinding beacon of light in a dark world of oppressive monotony…

Featuring spectacular re-creations by artists such as: Boston, STYX, Journey, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, The Who, Toto, Supertramp,Manfred Mann, April Wine, Shooting Star, .38 Special, Eddie Money, Night Ranger, Steve Miller Band…… And many, many more. Starting to get the picture? We knew you would. Enjoy!

TrixieDelightSaturday – 5:00-6:30

Trixie Delight

Take all of your favorite bands from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and now…then, have them play your favorite songs, all on one stage, all in one night. This is what the audiences coming to see Trixie Delight have come to love and expect from their favorite St. Louis cover band. Sounds like a huge exaggeration, and biased self opinion made by the band – if you’ve never seen them before – but when you hear for yourself live, the amazing truth… you will become one of the many who show up weekly to feed their addiction.

Formed in 2001, Trixie Delight quickly rose to the top 4 of all of the cover bands in town. Kelly Wild, is the front woman/screamer/MC/ lead vocalist – and has become one of St. Louis’ top vocalists and is quite engaging with the crowd. The fact that she can cover songs by the male vocalists who had recorded them, and sound remarkably like the original recording – was an instant success. People couldn’t believe their ears and eyes, when the band would perform songs from groups like The Doors, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam. Now, add in covers of sexy, rockin’ female artists too – like Adele, Heart, and Gaga -starting to get the picture? Yeah…WOW!

The only way Trixie Delight could cover such a wide variety of songs, is by having one of the most versatile lead guitarists in town, and a rhythm section that is slammin’. Steve Bunck on drums, and Clint Wilson on guitar, and Logan Detering on bass. They are some of the most talented musicians in St. Louis and keep the mood light and fun on stage. They round out the unique sound of Trixie Delight with their full bodied back up vocals.

Trixie Delight has performed for the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, and the St. Louis Blues organizations. Kelly Wild has performed at times over the years, with 2 annual tributes at The Pageant – Celebration Day (a Led Zeppelin tribute) and El Monstero (a Pink Floyd tribute.)

Trixie Delight, is all about making the audience have fun while being treated to some of the best music and vocals in the area. So get ready to lose your cares for a few hours, and enjoy the show!
